Eye of the Patriot

Glenn Beck played a sound clip of the following video on his radio program this morning. This is scary stuff, luckily my son isn’t of school age yet. That gives me a few years for this Conservative revival, if you will, to bring God back into our schools and get back to the values and principles that this nation was founded upon. This video was taped on June 19th at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, NJ.

Can you believe that?! These schools are teaching our kids to worship a human being and sing songs about them. Not any human being either, a human being that is attempting to “fundamentally change America” in a way that could be viewed as no less than draconian means. I think I remember similar songs being sung about other leaders of nations in our history, most of which were never really friendly. Ring a bell?

Here is the main verse of the lyrics of the song they are singing since its hard to understand at times:

Can you imagine asking your children what they did in school that day? And have them respond – “well Daddy, we learned a new song about Barack Hussein Obama and how all people are equal in his sight”. Last time I heard the lyric about being “equal in his sight” in that song it was referring to JESUS, not this despicable President of ours. This makes me sick, quite literally. If videos and facts like this don’t wake even more people from their Obama fever and what these Statists are doing to our country, then nothing will or can!

Ronald Reagan said it best in his Nationalize Healthcare Bill speech in 1961:

“Until one day, as norman thomas said, ‘We will awake to find, that we have socialism.”

And the line that sends shivers up my spine:

“And if you don’t do this and … one of these days you and I are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it once was like in America, when men were free.”

Once again, Conservative hero John Boehner comes through in the clutch. Currently both the Senate and the House have voted on separate bills to abandon all Federal funding of ACORN. The bill that was voted on in the House was amended to include this initiative, the meat of this bill however, would have virtually made private student loans a thing of the past. But as FoxNews reports, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) is officially calling for a separate vote to bar ACORN from receiving our tax dollars.

The House and Senate each passed bills this week that would strip ACORN of taxpayer money, but it may not be so easy to halt federal funding for the scandal-plagued community organizing group.

The measures to de-fund ACORN won the support of both Republicans and Democrats, but they were passed as amendments to separate, unrelated bills — setting up a potentially drawn-out process to reconcile the differences in the legislation.

But since the anti-ACORN measure has bipartisan support, why not simplify?

That’s the idea behind Republican House Minority Leader Boehner’s push for a stand-alone vote to ensure that taxpayer dollars will no longer be used to fund the organization, which has been reeling from a scandal involving undercover videos that purport to show ACORN workers advising a couple posing as a pimp and prostitute on how to skirt the law.

Its not a sure thing though that the bill voted on by the House won’t make it through the Senate and still have the same effect on the Student loan industry. But at least it would have the potential to not be pushed through using the anti-ACORN sentiment as its fuel if Boehner gets his way which should most definitely make it more difficult to pass.

Boehner calls for the vote:

“Now that the House has spoken in such resounding fashion, Speaker (Nancy) Pelosi should schedule an up-or-down vote,” Boehner said in a statement released Friday. “The sooner we can send the Defund ACORN Act as a stand-alone bill to the Senate, which has already voted to deny federal funds to this corrupt outfit, the sooner we can get it to the president’s desk,”

Lets just hope and pray Pelosi hears him.

To James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles; In response to the ACORN Corruption videos

James and Hannah,

Thank you for your incredible work exposing corruption as I have never seen. I’m just a couple years older than you are James and you make me proud to be a part of this emerging generation. I once had lost hope that the majority of my peers and age group had lost touch with what the United States was truly built upon. But after going to the DC 9/12 rally and having my heart refreshed in what it means to be an American. I thank God for true patriots such as yourselves, we are on the verge of something big here and I truly believe our generation will play a major part in this.

Thank you for the inspiration and keep up the great work!

Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009

BigGovernment reports that H.R. 3221 has passed the final House vote by an overwhelming majority (345 Ayes – 75 Nays). This bill had an amendment added to totally cutoff the federal funding to ACORN. Ordinarily this would be a great victory, it is being touted as such everywhere. But what people don’t know is that this bill, if passed through the Senate and signed by the President, will garner a full takeover of the Student Loan industry by ridding of their guaranteed loan programs and pulling everything over to the Direct Loan program. This will dramatically injure the Private student loan industry. This is a full court press power grab of the Student Loan industry. Quite literally.

H.R. 3221 summary as taken from OpenCongress.org states the following:

“Broadly this bill seeks channel funding into secondary and post secondary education. Such appropriations would go towards increasing and creating new grant programs providing student financial aid, providing funding for renovating and constructing public schools and community colleges, and ensuring that such institutions meet environmental and energy standards. More information on what grants this bill does and does not apply to, can be found from the House Higher Education and Labor Committee here.”

This is a perfect example of the dirty duty that this administration and these leftists are pushing on us day after day. They put an amendment to defund a corrupt organization like ACORN in the middle of a bill that will propogate their power through another whole industry. Scumbags. Who can vote against this especially with the huge ACORN scandal going down… and since this is the biggest issue going on right now aside from the whole Healthcare debate, voting against ACORN trumps the collateral damage that will be pressed upon the Private sector.

In a move that once again contradicts the Press Releases they sent out previously, ACORN is suspending operations temporarily. In other words, ACORN CEO Bertha Lewis needs to get all the leadership of the organization’s thousands of locations together to coach them to keep their mouth shut.

If this was nothing but “Gotcha journalism” and “completely false accusations”, why were those employees from the Baltimore branch that were caught on tape, now fired? Why are you suspending operations while at the same time going on to try to falsify up a lawsuit against FoxNEWS and the only two people willing to sacrifice their safety to bring down corruption?

Don’t fool yourself into thinking this is anything but a ploy to buy more time and recoup whatever they can of their reputation and fight back against James, Hannah, and FoxNEWS.

ACORN chief executive Bertha Lewis said in a written statement that she was “ordering a halt to any new intakes into ACORN’s service programs until completion of an independent review.”

The actions were taken, she said, “as a result of indefensible action of a handful of our employees.”

Lewis continued: “We have all been deeply disturbed by what weve seen in some of these videos. I must say, on behalf of ACORN’s Board and our Advisory Council, that we will go to whatever lengths necessary to reestablish the public trust. For nearly forty years, ACORN has given voice to communities, and gotten results. Right now, our nearly 500,000 member are working their hearts out for quality, affordable healthcare for every American and to help stop the foreclosure crisis. We must get this process right, so the good work can go forward.”

So I was just laying down for bed last night when it clicked in my head. James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles have done a genius job with not only their undercover journalism of ACORN, but in their release strategy of these videos. You can absolutely tell this strategy was planned out from the beginning, as you’ve seen each video released has been progressively worse and more astounding.

Well in reference to my late night post last night about the next ACORN sting video. As I said, there will at least be one more video to break the news based on Hannah’s article yesterday at BigGovernment.com indicating, blatantly, that there is another location yet to be revealed.

Well, that got me thinking about it. Hrm…

So far we have videos from Baltimore, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., and San Bernardino. Does this mean we have at least a video to be released that covers the South central part of the United States? What about the North?

Hannah states the following in her article:

After going undercover on the east coast, James and I headed to the west coast. We knew it was a risky endeavor but the results on the east coast were too good to ignore. We had to test our scenario in an opposite region. It is like a science experiment:

Having covered the East to West coast, anybody can say they have covered a far greater portion of ACORN than is needed to prove the organization is as corrupt as they come. But I believe they have 2 more to be released. New Orleans ACORN and CHICAGO ACORN offices. Imagine an ACORN video from Chicago revealing criminal behavior while at the same time hearing of close ties to Barack Obama from the mouth of this same criminal.

Its a pipe dream yet its also a long shot prediction. I guess we’ll see, either way James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles have proven that it only takes 1 (or 2) people to make a huge difference. I truly am humbled by their self sacrificing service they have performed to uncover corruption from the inside out.
