August 29th, 2009Reagan on Healthcare: Glenn Beck Remix
In 1961, long before running for his Presidency, Ronald Reagan established himself as a staunch opponent of Nationalized Healthcare. He formulated speeches and radio addresses about politics and issues in general, one of them was his famous speech speaking out against socialized medicine.
Yesterday, Glenn Beck presented a remix of this speech on his radio program, the audio was created by his staff. Its not quite a rap, its not quite a chant, but you’ll recognize the format. Let me just say, you’re in for a treat. Listening to this for the first time, and everytime since then… is just another reason that makes me proud to be American.
Now…kick back and listen to this, its just over 5 minutes long (half as long as the original). You’ll wish there was more:
The Reagan of our era will emerge from the crowd and champion the taking back of this country by true Americans and our majority Conservative roots will once again be reestablished. I don’t need to remind you but the ground swell is already there to support this, OVERWHELMINGLY.
Take a look at the linked video to listen to the full speech of his for further arguments against this abomination. Reagan… you truly are a Patriot.
